Faith Builders

On the third Sunday of the month during the school year, there is a time of faith and fellowship for our littlest ones and their parents. Meetings are held in the Mission Room in the basement at 10:30 AM. This time includes talking about faith with young children using the board book series Manna and Mercy from Daniel Erlander and a time for them to play, learn, and grow together.

Faith Explorers

Faith Explorers for ages 3 through 5th grade is held each Sunday at 10:15 AM from September to the end of April. Children learn Bible stories that alight with the Sunday morning focus lessons they heard during worship. This means they have consistency from worship through the education time! Each session includes a music opening, the retelling of the story, and hands-on activities to help them understand the lessons, including science experiments, cooking, crafts, games, service opportunities, and more!

Kids' Time and Noisy Offering

Kids’ time is available during all worship services. This is a time for kids to gather at the front of the sanctuary and connect to our readings in a fun and interactive way. It allows children to hear God’s love for them, all while being a part of the worship service.

On the second Sunday of the month, kids can help collect our noisy offering during the offering time by carrying buckets to our congregational members.

Upcoming Events

Super Hero Sunday

Join us on Sunday, August 23 for Super Hero Sunday! This special worship service, voted on by the youth during our annual meeting, will focus on the superhero qualities found in stories throughout the Bible. As we explore the lives of faithful men and women in Scripture, we’ll discover how God equips ordinary people with extraordinary courage, compassion, faith, and strength to serve  others and how we live as super heroes of faith today.

During worship, we will also celebrate our annual Backpack Blessing. Students, teachers, school staff, and anyone beginning a new school year are invited to bring their backpacks, bags, or briefcases to receive a blessing and new backpack tag as we pray for a safe, successful, and faith-filled year.

During fellowship, please take a few moments to review and update your contact information and sign up for texting during our Member Information Update. Then, at 10:30 AM,  we welcome our Elementary Faith Explorer families up to the Education wing, where families can get registered, meet teachers, visit classrooms, and learn more about the upcoming year of children’s ministry. We hope you’ll join us as we prepare for another exciting year of learning, growing, and serving together!
